Relationship Note on Ida
I was pleasantly surprised as I was perusing the stack of journals brought to me, to see Ida mention that she was to be wed. I do not know her as well as others, but... I know this:
Ida is one of the most talented people in all of Arx. She is also one of the kindest and most generous. She absolutely deserves all the happiness in the world, and if this man brings it to her, I am beyond thrilled for her.
Congratulations on your happiness, Ida. And Gerard, whoever you are... you have won the hand of an amazing woman. I hope you know how fortunate you are... and how much you will suffer at the hands of others if you ever hurt her (as has already been mentioned in the whites).

My torment is at its end. I have at long last awoken from deep slumber, I am told. Many a moon spent in thoughtless, empty existence; bedridden. It feels as though the world has passed by me, and I am left behind to catch up on unwilling inaction and all the suffering I could not aid in preventing. I finally came back to my daily routine. Though, I must say that I was shocked seeing that pile of papers on my table.
It seems that the time has not been stopped while I was on a small mother's vacation. Now I realize that I need a couple of spare hands to do all what has to be done. That is why I have decided to find a couple of proteges for myself and my house.
* I need a person who is capable in handling various matters regarding animals.
* I need a passionate alchemist.
To be honest, I do not mind to support young talents. Once I was young and pretty new to my own passions. I needed time and support to grow. So, I seek more of a passion thank high talent, and I would be happy to assist those people in growing their skills.
I myself should also improve my abilities in negotiating in a more political level. Diplomacy should become my strong skill if I want to be helpful to my husband. I should find a professional tutor.

Princess Elgana Redrain is put upon by my cousin. It is only her royal demeanor and disposition that keeps her sane I imagine. Fortunately I am not required to be as proper as the young Princess and can tell Arik off rather freely.

One of my younger cousins but the wisest shaman I know. Some might think that because I travel I might be more knowledgeable or attuned to the spirits. This is not the case connection with the spirits is an intangible thing nurtured by spirit and my cousin has much spirit.

The times continue to move on and the scouting continues. There are areas of the island that I have yet to truly experience as I have in these past few weeks. Perhaps time shall show us something that will be worth the cost of these expeditions.
