Inverno Imports & Exports is open for business. Just as the Empyrean route has opened. I would say it's fortuitous, but that would diminish the work that went into finding the office, securing the writs and documents, signing on captains, and negotiating contracts. The work of many months and a good way to kick off the turning of the year.

While I rarely reply on someone else' entries, I must disagree with Kenna and her call to repair another journal. For sometimes, cats purring away on part of you is incredibly soothing. Dogs often forget they get too big for such things, and also drool... and worse.

Early on there was a little, no a lot of friction between my Nephew In Law and myself. We're both two terribly different types of men, and I do not mean that in a bad way. Hadrian has his strengths, I have mine. I don't agree with everything he does, and of course I love my Niece unconditionally and if he ever truly hurt her, I'd of course, have to do something about it. yet, I held my tongue as bade, Cambria trusted him for good reason, and he has done amazing things for Ostria and the House of Mazetti. I'm glad I don't need to worry about him anymore, he isn't... someone else. Bah, so many words. Perhaps he's influencing me more than I expected, the horror. Regardless, Hadrian just deserved something a little public from me on how much his work has been appreciated.

It's my understanding that if a duel is won, then the winner is the correct side of the disagreement? Whichever it was?
I say this as having lost a duel that Luca fought on my behalf, and no matter how wronged I felt I was, I made my apologies to the victor without question.

For the record of anyone who cares (which I figure is a slim number), I did not stop any runaway carts.

I managed to win at an archery contest put on by the Champions. Stiff competition out on the field. Lady Zoey Kennex, Lady Shae Keaton and Commander Violet somethingsomething-Marjawn were all very good. There were several other entrants that kept up with the contest even as they lagged behind, showed good spirit. Those are the ones that will show up to the next contest and smoke everyone else out. I look forward to it.
Family and friends were there too. It was a good night.
