I am eventually gonna record a book of sayings like this that people told me! I will have like a dozen books on Mae sayings. This is from Prince Otakar Redrain. I had a sudden moment of hope when he was giving this advice. I win battle after battle and spar after spar. When I don't win a spar, I think it take it well. We will see if I can keep my Grayson pride under control if I lose against Sir Jeffeth tomorrow! He is very very good and he beat me in a spar before. But I realized this advice could be applied socially too! And Socially is probably were I need to apply it. I don't need to take every social defeat of whatever kind personal, but get up, carry on and dust myself off and learn the lesson! He is a pretty smart prince. I am doing to learn to walk gracefully in social defeat or at least try. I might trip over my ribbons.

Shard is absolutely correct. You should be selecting your team based on the areas that you're traveling. I speak Northlands and Oathlands shav so while I'd be an excellent companion for visiting the Abandoned tribes in those locations, I wouldn't be able to communicate with those in other regions.

Not that I wish to be indelicate, or vulgar, gods forfend, but there are some things that come with age that no one tells you about when you are still a young buck with your whole life stretching ahead of you, rather than parts of you stretching down. One of which relates to sleep. Or a lack thereof. Because you are constantly getting up all hours of the night, and you are lucky if you manage a little bit of anything at all.
